Pool and Man and the other
I would love to thank all the girls in this whole world. When i was young, i was kept away from girls, the only time was when i was in kindergarden. I had a girlfriend then, her name was charmaine, haha, now know the prowess of the lady killer! Yeah, then ever since i stepped into catholic high primary, i've never spoken to another girl, except in church. So started the 6 years talking to my own sex only. I was deprived of love and girl watching. Yes, for 6 years, i engaged in boyish acts, boyish games, boyish sweat, grime, and dirt. And when i went to beatty, i was introduced into a new world, a world with girlllss, uhhhh. Yes, i started out as being shy, and of course, being young, i hated the girls. Till now, i'm still shy but i know that the world wouldn't be a nice place without girls, haha, the guys can only give you so much. Anyway, i write this post to honour girls, not because i'm in love recently, not cause i love girl watching, but without girls, the dominion of man will fail. Without girls, there wouldn't be homework, no children, no love, no happiness.
I don't know what to write in this post, but anyway, i wanna talk about the carpenters. Yesterday, i was listening to the Carpenter's, ''Top of the World'' for like another million times while playing pool. Yeah, anyway, its a pretty sad story, the Carpenter sibling's lead, karen, suffered from anorexia, which is like, dieting, and they never really stop, they get super skinny. Yeah, she died after she gained 5kg in a week, where her heart couldn't take the strain. So you see, singers never lead a good life. Almost all my favorite singers have died already, John denver, karen carpenter and luther vandross. Thank God Engelbert's not dead yet, and i hope i get to go to his concert at least once.
Anyway, back to the topic of girls, haha. The reason why i'm against BGR is the i've heard enough of my mother's stories of her experiences in court. She's seen many young teen's lives ruined by ''love'' Its not time guys, girls can get pregnant, and then it'll be really difficult. Anyway, even if i were really really too much in love, i'll just go out once or twice with that lucky girl, haha, i wouldn't dare to date a girl, it'll really affect my studies that's why when i was sec 1 i kept persuading the BGRers not to do that, but i had no idea. Never would have thought that the enforcer himself would fall for that trap, the first time i fell in love, i realised that it isn't easy to say no, but anyway, no matter how strong it is, i'll say no. Is it worth it? Are you sure the guy/girl you're in love now will be your future spouse? Surely someone you find now isn't the one, even if you think she is, you'll have to go thru really a lot to get her, it'll be almost a decade before he or she can be your spouse, and thru the years, the feelings fade, your grades drop, and you'll be afraid she loses interest in you too..
Anyway, i've been flipping thru some of my father's club magazines cause i'd really like to participate in any pool tournament available. I think i'm quite ok and although my goal is not to win, at least i can see where i stand. And of course, pool gains respect, especially from the much older men. One example is that fat relief teacher that amanda and her friends seem to hate, as written on her blog. lol, we didn't know much about him either, but one day he just strolled to the pool table, asking for a game. He's a really really good pool player, in fact, he's a snoooker player. He only played against our best there, which meant, he played against TPA only, and out of Me, teck, wei zhou and kenneth, only kenneth lost. And i really loved my match, cause i cleared him, haha, anyway, winning him gains respect from him. I mean, you can hate him and speak bad of him, but to us, whenever we see him, we feel good, cause we know, he's under me, i owned him, haha, its a good way to get back at people you don't like other that speaking behind his back and hating him that much, cause when he sees you, however bad he might treat you, he would respect you and wouldn't talk so much cause he got owned, hahaha.
