TOEFL
The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Lol, anybody heard of this? Its like super super high standard of english! Lol, i was browsing around when i got onto this TOEFL site and decided to try one of its practices. Its some kind of a like, exam, a test for foreign students to take in order to qualify for some jobs or to study in American colleges and universities. Lol, i tried a few questions and the standard is really quite high! Lol, its quite difficult you know! Then i complained to my dad telling him i'm practicing my eng by trying out TOEFL and he told me i'm crazy and he said he scored a 600 plus when he did the test which got him into an english university.
Lol, and doing the test reminds me of my tuition kid. Today was supposedly the last day for my tuition kid cause i told PF that i couldn't take him anymore and he hadn't progressed much. Lol, i was in a good mood today towards him cause its his last day, he didn't know actually, but yeah, he had trouble with primary 5 MCQ questions when he's sec 1! lol, can you imagine if he took a TOEFL test? haha, even i can't be of much help if he does... But anyway, Pf pulled him to a corner today to tell him that i wouldn't be teaching him tuition anymore and that he needn't have to come anymore cause she has seen him playing a fool and making fun of me and stuff, lol. Sigh, remember guys, never give your tutors a hard time.. anyway, he suddenly appeared very downcast and regretful and he told her his dad would scold him if he dropped tuition, then Pf suggested giving him another chance, then she looked at me, and he did too, with those mournful eyes and hey, how could i have the heart to say no? So he'd be having tuition again next week... lol, hope he doesn't make fun of me again.
